Spectrum of the solar corona. The solar activity cycle was approaching a minimum. The corona shows polar burshes and long equatorial streamers. The green line at 5303A does not show well, if at all, because the corona is rather cool: below 1.5 million degrees. We see the continuous spectrum from free electrons and dust.
