I used a Tamron 300/2.8 lens for this image. This was a very deep solar minimum. The last eclipse where the corona was observed having this configuration without many individual features was on 30 June 1954.
One can accomplish much inside of a minute if he is prepared and organized. At this eclipse, I was recovering from a very high fever. I thank my fellow expedition members from the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Calgary Section, for their assistance.
