From the Sahara in summer to Manitoba in winter...this eclipse occurred during maximum sunspot activity. At such times, the corona has a round shape. The moon dropped air temperatures to the dewpoint of -21C forming ice fog. Our group was surrounded by sparkly crystals during totality. Several prominences added hot magenta along the black lunar limb.
